An engineer who can passionately take ownership of their responsibilities, collaborating effectively with remote teams to not only meet but exceed our objectives and fulfil the evolving needs of our expanding customer base. The role of the NPI engineer resides in the R&D department that develops, introduces and maintains products to and in the market from Quantum Machines.Join us in this exciting journey to redefine the future of quantum computing.Key Responsibilities:In projects:

Keeping track of ordered prototypes and their delivery time
Help with supplier selection and dialogue
Interface to operations
Maintaining an overview of the remaining milestones to secure timely release for manufacturing, focusing on the transfer to production

Creating production documentation:

Bill of Material in ERP and PLM system
Assembly instructions
Regulatory requirements
Test descriptions
Incoming inspection instructions.
Overview of ongoing ECOs and ensuring progress
Compiling documentation packages for procurement at suppliers

Continuous improvement task:

Ensure a strategic fit of the product production documentation package
Participate in PLM and ERP development
Participate in the creation and improvement of the NPI process
Facilitate all the above with stakeholders in Operations and Engineering

Key Requirements:

Background in Engineering either as a production- or electronics- engineer
3 years of experience in an NPI role in the hardware industry
Worked with a multitude of suppliers and EMSs in a global setting
Fluent in written and verbal English and Danish
Result-driven, and can motivate colleagues
Have a sense of details and can capture them in concise production documentation
Inspired by working with groundbreaking technology
A good sense of how to progress a project with the product introduction in focus

Quantum Machines Copenhagen:The position is based at our Copenhagen office and refers to the Director of R&D. The position is a global position that requires some international travel to our headquarters in Tel Aviv and suppliers across the world. Copenhagen is a hotspot for quantum computer development, and Quantum Machines has an office in this important environment to be close to the research and be at the forefront of product requirements.None
