Global Business Direct is part of Danske Bank's Nordic hub for international customers. The team of seven colleagues provides financial solutions and advisory towards small and medium sized enterprise (SME) customers with international ownership. This can be both listed and private groups, which have business activities in any of the four Nordic countries.Danske Bank has a leading position in the Nordics, as we provide pan Nordic banking solutions to both small and large customers. As a result, the portfolio of international SME customers is growing, and the team needs to grow as well.The team is located in Copenhagen, Denmark at Danske Bank's new premises at Postbyen. They are working very close with all the local Global Subsidiaries teams in the Nordics and this will give you a good opportunity to connect with many colleagues across our Nordic countries.The position
The Global Business Direct team manages less complex international customers. The team's main responsibility is to give banking advice within the bank's risk appetite for international business. You have the overall responsibility for the customer portfolio in close collaboration with Senior bankers (responsible for the parent company), product specialists, and subject matter experts across the bank.This includes among other responsibilities; client dialog in case of advisory related questions, screening and assessment of potential new customers as well as relationship coordination across the border while also focusing on monitoring and development of the existing portfolio.Position with a wide network across the bank

Given the bank's central Nordic hub for international corporate banking solutions, you are expected to be curious, collaborate effectively and team up with your colleagues. You bring solid experience with stakeholder management. Your supportive nature and strong initiative allow you to effectively help both your colleagues and clients. We see that you have a wish to learn and can lead by example by prioritizing knowledge sharing and inspiring others to try new ways of working. We see that you have:
  • A keen interest to work as a relationship manager within the financial sector
  • May have previous experience from other product areas within banking or finance, such as Cash Management or Credit Advisory
  • Fluent skills in at least one Nordic language and English
  • A willingness to engage with and explore our international segment
