Job Description:Are you an experienced Certified Technician with B1 AML looking for new challenges in an ambitious and entrepreneurial environment?We are looking for new Certified Technicians colleagues to join us as soon as possible and take an important role as the responsible for our Part 145 in our facilities in Billund and in Sønderborg DenmarkSkyways Technics A/S is a Danish MRO focused on maintenance of regional aircrafts and components. We strive to constantly meet the customer's requirements and maintain Skyways Technics A/S' position as the preferred maintenance provider.Your principal responsibilitiesCertified Technicians:
  • Performing and/or certifying aircraft maintenance tasks by ensuring that all maintenance steps or inspections are carried out at the required standards, and raising non-routine/defect cards for the defects related to the tasks he is assigned.
  • Ensuring that only effective and current maintenance data is used for maintenance instructions and all applicable maintenance steps are accomplished for the assigned job.
  • Ensuring that he/she only certifies maintenance tasks that he/she is authorized as detailed in his authorization certificate.
  • Coordinating any non-routine tasks and required resources (tools, materials, components, maintenance data) for their accomplishment with the Dock Chief.
  • Paying more attention on critical/complex maintenance tasks and always considering safety in his/hers work.
  • Ensuring that the organization's procedures and standards are complied with when carrying out maintenance tasks and filling out the maintenance records for the assigned job.
  • Supervising mechanics and other non-certifying staff working on the assigned task at an adequate level according to the complexity of the task.
  • Ensuring that required serviceable tools and materials are used for the accomplishment of the assigned maintenance tasks as required by effective current maintenance data.
  • Ensuring that only serviceable components with appropriate documentation are installed on the aircraft for the assigned maintenance task,
  • Correctly tagging the removed components for the assigned maintenance task and storing temporarily on the correct rack to ensure segregation.
  • Following procedures for task/shift handover to ensure effective communication.
  • Maintaining standard engineering practices within the hangar, such as accurately completing task cards, general hangar husbandry, as well as ensuring workplace cleanliness and taking active measures to prevent FOD.
Qualifications / Minimum Requirements:
  • B1 Aircraft Maintenance License (AML).
  • Fluent in English, oral and written.
  • Able to work structured, autonomous and good at decision making.
  • Quality conscious.
  • User of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general IT literacy.
  • Ability to obtain permit to live and work in Denmark.
  • Ability to obtain an Airport pass.
  • Hold a valid drivers license .
Desired Requirements:
  • B1 AML
  • ATR Type-rated or willing to complete aircraft type training as required to fulfil the role.
