You will lead a team of four employees spread across globally, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our infrastructure services. This role requires a blend of strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and hands-on experience in infrastructure management.Key Responsibilities Include1. Leadership and Team Management:Lead and manage a team of four infrastructure professionals located in the Netherlands, Denmark, USA, and JapanProvide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environmentConduct regular performance evaluations, set goals, and provide opportunities for professional development2. Infrastructure Operations and Engineering:Actively contribute to the daily operations of Storage, Server, Compute, and Active Directory services, leveraging your technical expertise to address complex challenges and troubleshoot issuesLead by example in designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to industry best practicesCollaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance infrastructure performance and reliability3. Strategic Planning and Execution:Work closely with senior management to develop and execute infrastructure strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plansStay up-to-date of emerging technologies and trends in infrastructure management, advocating for their adoption where appropriate to drive efficiency and innovationLead the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, automate tasks, and optimize resource utilization4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:Foster strong collaboration with other IT teams, including Network, Security, and Application Support, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of infrastructure servicesEngage with stakeholders across different departments and regions to understand their requirements and provide scalable infrastructure solutions to support their needs effectively5. Compliance and Security:Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards related to infrastructure management and data securityImplement robust security measures, access controls, and disaster recovery plans to protect sensitive information and minimize risks effectivelyRequirementsProven experience (minimum 5 years) in infrastructure management, with hands-on experience in Storage, Server, Compute, and Active Directory technologiesStrong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading distributed teams across multiple countriesIn-depth knowledge of infrastructure architecture, design principles, and best practicesProficiency in infrastructure automation, orchestration, and configuration management toolsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organizationRelevant certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Hyper-V or similar credentials are desirableAbility to travel occasionally to different locations as required, primarily to our site in Utrecht, The NetherlandsThis role is located in Copenhagen, Denmark, and is hybrid.About You
