As our new IAM Architect, you will utilize your knowledge to lead the development and implementation of IAM strategies and design, architect, implement and optimize IAM solutions. The digitalization journey is strategically important for Novo Nordisk. With it, we will adopt a modern IAM and zero trust approach which will enable significant business value. Our business is growing with increased levels of partnerships and external collaboration as well as more hybrid ways of working, growing IT landscape of applications and devices, and a general movement towards more cloud and larger data sets. The modernisation of IAM is supporting our changing business. You will become a member of the newly established Global Identity & Access Management function, with which you will enable the transformation by collaborating with Managers, Product Owners, Project Managers, and other architects from the organisation to define and succeed with IAM related initiatives.Part of your responsibilities will be:
- Provide strategic guidance on identity and access management initiatives
- Lead the development and implementation of IAM strategies
- Design, architect, implement, and optimize IAM solutions
- Participate in the delivery of the IAM epic in a large program which we call IT Scalability
- Perform presentations to larger group of stakeholdersConduct risk assessments and recommend enhancements to improve IAM security
- Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, security threats, and industry trends related to IAM. Provide recommendations for adopting modern technologies and methodologies to enhance IAM capabilities
- Vendor Management: Engage with IAM solution vendors to stay informed about product roadmaps, updates, and new features. Evaluate and recommend third-party solutions that align with the organization's IAM strategy
Experienced IAM architect with minimum 10 years of IAM architecture experience and a proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise wide IAM solutions. Proficient in relevant IAM technologies IGA, IDP etc. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional results.We prefer you have:
- Strong understanding of security protocols and standards
- Proven experience in leading IAM projects from conception to completion
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Certification: Possession of relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or other industry-recognized certifications
- Experience with Cloud IAM: Demonstrated experience in implementing IAM solutions in cloud environments, ensuring the organization's readiness for cloud adoption and addressing associated security challenges
- IAM Automation: Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages to streamline IAM processes, enhance efficiency, and respond rapidly to changing security requirements
- Pharma Industry Expertise: Expertise is particularly valuable, such as compliance with healthcare regulations or securing intellectual property
- Cross-Cultural Collaboration: Experience working in multicultural and diverse environments, emphasizing the ability to collaborate with global teams and navigate cultural nuances
Global Identity & Access Management is a newly established function reporting to the CISO, based in DD&IT in Denmark. The function is responsible for ensuring that IAM initiatives are aligned, run, and developed according to the strategic direction for IAM in Novo Nordisk. You will be part of a global information security community with colleagues located in Denmark, USA, and India.
