Tools Concept
Tools Concepts defines the tooling solutions used in Vestas's factories worldwide. Our scope varies from implementing smaller equipment-solutions to developing and implementing entire production lines for producing our turbines. The Tools Concepts team consist of 7 skilled Project Managers & Specialists
As the Manager of the team, you will play an important role in defining the concepts and strategies for our tools and equipment solutions used in factories worldwide. Our team are committed to implementing innovative solutions, from individual equipment to comprehensive production lines for turbine manufacturing. This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise and leadership, to drive our tools and equipment initiatives forward.Responsibilities
- Oversee the Tools Concepts team by offering leadership and advice in the development of concepts and strategies for production line equipment
- Provide mentorship and development opportunities for team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth
- Represent the Tools Concepts team in cross-functional meetings and strategic discussions, advocating for tools and equipment strategies
- Perform day to day leadership for your team, ensuring a healthy work environment and a high level of team motivation
- When needed, participate in projects, project reviews and project steercos
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Solid experience in developing equipment for large-scale production lines, with demonstrated leadership and managerial experience
- Skilled in the complete management of projects, capable of guiding collaborative groups to meet deadlines effectively
- Experienced in building and maintaining supplier relationships and negotiating contracts
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
- Your motivation comes from within, and you consistently focus on finding solutions
- Expert communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical material to non-technical stakeholders, in Danish or English
- Your ability to adjust to new conditions and shifting priorities within an ever-evolving work setting showcases your versatility
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Progressive attitude towards seeking opportunities for continuous improvement in products or processes
