Senior IT Security Analyst - Purple Team Analyst

As our Senior Security Analyst you will be part of GSO Functional areas to develop and refine mitigation strategies based on insights gathered from joint assessments and information exchange.Your key responsibilities include:
- Act as a bridge between security testing, Incident Response, Security System Operations, and Data Analytics security teams, facilitating communication, joint exercises, and knowledge sharing to enhance overall security effectiveness
- Ensure assessments are conducted in a controlled manner and all findings are corrected or accepted
- Plan and execute joint security assessments, including penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and threat emulation exercises to identify weaknesses and inform defensive strategies
- Share insights gained from offensive and defensive operations to enhance the collective understanding of threats, vulnerabilities, and effective defensive measures across our organization
- Take adhoc requests from GIS (Global Information Security) business areas to conduct testing on specific infrastructure or testing adversary TTP’s
The preferred candidate would have a background in Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security or other relevant fields with equivalent job experience.
- Over 5 years’ experience working in IT Security
- Understands risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk
- Expert on cyber threats and vulnerabilities
- Knowledge of red team tactics / pentesting of systems, security controls and how to best implement them to prevent threats
