We are looking for an operational Utility Automation Engineer to join our Utility Automation team in Plant Engineering Support in Hillerød. Are you interested in utility automation trouble shooting maintenance and minor project work, then you might be just the candidate we are looking for!About the positionOur new Utility Automation Engineer will provide support to our operation and projects and AVEVA SCADA system in operations, including system administration Siemens TIA portal and interfaces.You will be working closely with end-users to understand system functionalities to find optimal Automation solutions that support equipment reliability and digitalization strategies, but also to ensure a successful handover to operation. Additionally, you will be supporting them and performing system training.The job requires presence in Hillerød daily, with the possibility of working occasionally from home.Tasks (not limited to):
  • BMS/VDS Utility Automation Engineer in operation
  • Provide support for standalone PLC’s and SCADA System, Critical Alarm Management system, Software version control system (VersionDog) and interfaces to PI data storage system.
  • Perform programming in Siemens PLC and similar manufacturers.
  • Maintaining and operating the BMS/VDS- and CAHS systems
  • Support operations with daily tasks and maintenance
  • Trouble shooting and maintenance.
  • Support automation projects for updates to software and program corrections.
QualificationsProfessional skills:
  • You have a background in Controls, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience with Pharmaceutical Industry or similar is preferred
  • Project experience from automation projects is preferred.
  • Preferably experience from a Bulk Manufacturing Facility or Food Industry.
  • Good English verbal and written skills and basic Danish

You are service minded and a good team player who takes ownership of your work.About the Team and the DepartmentThe Electrical & Utility Automation team consists of 10 engineers that provides technical support for all Plant Utilities and Support Equipment, such as plant steam boilers, cooling and heating systems, HVAC systems, water pre-treatment systems, USP water systems, electrical distribution, utility and building automation. It is a team with high technical expertise in an incorporated culture for good daily cooperation in a positive atmosphere.The team develops and implement maintenance metrics and strategies to avoid unplanned downtime. Moreover, they optimize and simplify corrective and preventive maintenance concepts.Additionally, they specify User Requirements and provide engineering support from basis of design, validation, qualification into operation of the equipment. Lastly, we follow and monitor energy usage and constantly look for optimization opportunities not to mention that we strive towards Fujifilm’s 2030 goal for zero emission.The team is part of the Technical Operation & Support department and provides mechanical, electrical and automation engineering support for plant utilities and manufacturing support systems.
