Danske Bank is seeking an experienced data engineer to join our Core Financing Platform tribe.Who Are We?Core Financing Platform brings together a diverse group of professionals responsible for crafting solutions that facilitate financing in the Nordic markets. The tribe consists of approximately 200 colleagues across Denmark, Lithuania, and India, with this new position based at our new domicile in København V.Our structure includes cross-functional Squads, and you will become a central contributor as senior data engineer in your squad. Additionally, you will participate in Chapters, where peers in similar roles exchange ideas, collaborate, and grow professionally. Your contributions to both Squads and Chapters are essential in driving our operational excellence and innovative approaches.Key responsibilities
  • Maintain, design, and develop data solutions using a technology stack that includes Python, SQL, AWS Data Bricks, Tableau, Jupyter, Alteryx, Airflow REST API, Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines, ETL workflows, and data integration solutions.
  • Participate in and contribute to an agile setup with a strong focus on delivering business value.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that align with business goals.
  • Continuously explore emerging technology trends and adopt best practices to improve solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards.

  • Have strong proficiency in SQL and Python for building scalable data pipelines, ETL workflows, and API integrations at an enterprise level.

  • Mentor and upskill peers to build a highly aligned development culture.
  • Have hands-on experience with version control, CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps, GitHub), infrastructure as code, and regulatory compliance standards

  • Thrive in multidisciplinary teams, combining a diplomatic approach with technical leadership.
