Data Analyst | AarhusTHE OPPORTUNITYWe are seeking curious, strategic, collaborative, communicative and analytical individuals to be part of our Data Analytics team. This opportunity will allow you to create datasets and perform in-depth analysis to drive decisions of Product Managers and business. You will play a key role by working closely with the business to identify use cases where external or internal data insights can make an impact and improve business decision-making. Are you up to the challenge?POSITION OVERVIEWCuriosity for data investigation is a key part of the job as well as a fundamental understanding of how our business is reflected in the data. You will get the opportunity to own analytical projects to direct our department's focus, and prioritize our actions. Everything needs to be automated, so it's important for you to know how to write the pipelines - this entails implementing all the steps in code. As such, knowledge of tooling around orchestration/pipelining is a great asset as well as experience with software development.WHAT YOU WILL DO● Use BigQuery to aggregate and consolidate complex data across various sources to deliver data results within e-commerce, marketing, finance, logistics and other business units.● Analyse and investigate data patterns based on problems, questions or ambitions from business and engineering colleagues● Work together with data scientists and data engineers in ensuring data quality and reproducibility.● Orchestrate pipelines through code in dbt and Airflow/Python that automate your data flows using a software best-practises approachYOUR PROFILE● Experienced in BigQuery or alternatively SQL● Confidence in juggling data - lots of it!● Ability to translate business requirements into data models.● Experienced with troubleshooting missing data or other data related issues - you know how to work your way backwards from an error.● Experience with implementing code in e.g. Python is a big advantage.The core of this team is a blame-free environment where we are curious, diverse and open-minded.
