You will join Global QC Development, that consists of two departments - the QC Competence Center and QC Development & Projects.The QC Competence Center consists of 12 people who are responsible for the development of LIMS and analytical methods. We are responsible for methods and support Novonesis' globally located QC functions. You will work closely with other scientists, LIMS specialists and technicians in many areas in Novonesis. Your workplace will be at our facility in Avedøre.In this role you'll make an impact by -
Working as a Senior LIMS Specialist in our team, where you will take part in management of projects for LIMS changes across QC laboratories and other stakeholders including implementation, documentation and communication.Future projects could; be introducing and validating LIMS solutions on new equipment or technologies, new LIMS functionalities, improving and aligning existing processes.In this role you can expect to travel approximately 10-15 days a year, mainly to our QC sites in Europe.In the daily work you will:
- Project management of LIMS projects and tasks across QC laboratories
- Create and perform validation activities for LIMS system changes, e.g. new functionalities or new equipment in QC
- Create and maintain master data in the system for projects, e.g. methods, specifications
- Secure proper documentation and traceability of LIMS projects and tasks
- Actively work towards continuous improvements of the LIMS system and data management
- Support and prepare training on new functionalities
- Troubleshoot & solve 1st level of LIMS functional incidents
- Ensure global standards are followed
- Interact with stakeholders to ensure good LIMS solutions to be implemented in the local QC's
Ideally, a Senior Specialist within Laboratory Information Managements Systems - Preferably a Sample Manager - with project management skills, including good skills in prioritization, project planning, communication and collaboration.You hold a Bachelor or higher degree in Food Science or Biotechnology and have solid IT skills. You come with 3-5 years of experience within QC food, pharmaceutical industry or similar. You have the technical background to be able to understand the flow in a Microbiological QC laboratory.As the department is only a year old, it is very important that you value and take an active part in building the team and defining our way of working. This is essential in our own team but also when it comes to the collaboration with our stakeholders across the organization. Being a team player with good collaboration skills is therefore crucial, along with having a proactive and self-driven attitude.It is important that you work structured and collaborate well with different people as you will have many different tasks and colleagues. As a person you have a positive mind-set, you thrive working independently and you have a proactive approach to solving your tasks.Finally, you have the ability to work globally and think holistically. You are fluent in English, verbal and written.
