This role blends industry expertise, technical execution, and commercial awareness.Welcome to the Technical Service Team in Household Care EuropeOur team consists of 8 other industry technology specialists with very diverse backgrounds, cultures and experiences. We have a strong team spirit and help each other. We work together with Sales and Marketing Teams to ensure effective communication and delivery of excellent technical support to our customers.Most of the team is based in Denmark, and 2 team members are working remote. We have an office first mindset with the option of working from home. The main task for us is being the technical contact for customers in Europe. You should feel confident in presenting complex data and communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.In this role you’ll make an impact by:
  • Engaging with our customers to understand their needs and proactively recommend tailored solutions. This includes building trust through direct engagement and technical insights.
  • Being an industry expert by planning and analyzing advanced technical tasks continued by delivering quality data that supports decisions and drives segment strategy.
  • Contributing to product development, testing and launch to create clear documentation and demos for internal trainings and for customers.
  • Collaborate with sales and track pipelines and spot opportunities. Support opportunity advancement with targeted technical input
  • Working independently with digital tools to analyze and visualize data
  • Applying deep process knowledge to real-world challenges
  • Traveling to customers approx. 10 - 20% of your time
To succeed you must hold:
  • A M.Sc. or PhD in chemistry, food science, biology or similar
  • A strong technical foundation with 5+ years of industry understanding from technical roles supporting the home care industry, personal care industry, working with FMCG or similar
  • Strong communication skills: fluent in English (speaking and writing). Knowledge of other European languages in particular Spanish or German is an advantage.
As a person you have a positive mindset and can-do spirit. You are a team player that also likes to work independently and you have a proactive mindset with customer-first thinking.
