You will be working at the very heart of the LEGO Group, and very close to your user: our LEGO® designers.The LEGO® Digital Element Design – Authoring provides a set of digital tools for the development of 3D elements, as well as cloud services as backend for the tooling. The output of your work will be used by every single LEGO® Experience, going through manufacturing, digital art for branding, games and more!Core ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain custom plugins for Autodesk Maya and related ecosystem of software components.Implement backend solutions on a cloud platform (we use C# and AWS currently).Work agile in a multi-functional product team, collaborating across a full value chain of software products.Support LEGO® creators in the use of 3D tooling.Play your part in our team succeedingThis is a phenomenal opportunity to join a team of experts in both 3D Tooling and Cloud Services, within a core area for the LEGO Group design process.You will bring your solid understanding of software engineering, and we expect you to leverage your curiosity to explore technologies, methods, and learn deeply the product domain.Do you have what it takes?Fundamental understanding of software engineering.Interest in learning and supporting both 3D tooling as well as cloud-based services.Knowledge of common development best practices (e.g. CI/CD, Git, Agile).Nice-to-haves:Professional experience working in C# or Python.A creative thinker who can analyze a problem and see multiple solutions.Experience with relevant 3D object creation tools such as Rhino, ZBrush, Blender, 3ds Max, or Maya.A portfolio of personal work and learning.Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
