Are you experienced in auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards? Then you might be our new Quality & Metrology Engineer.About the roleAs the Quality & Metrology Engineer, you will have internal contact with our production and including departments such as Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Planning Department and production. At the same time, you will also have contact with preferred suppliers with whom Convatec has entered into a service agreement regarding service/maintenance of equipment or suppliers who have special competencies in a subject/equipment area. The primary workplace is in Osted, Denmark and this is an onsite position.Key responsibilitiesThis position requires advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and will require vocational or technical education. A minimum of 3-5 years work experience in a similar position, knowledge of the MS Office suite and databases and GMP and ISO13485 is also strongly preferred. Danish and English language – written and spoken.

Maintain production equipment and installations, calibration, control and service documentation.
Coordination with suppliers and internal customers.
Participate in validation activities.
Register, document and update all activities.
Participate in projects concerning the introduction of new equipment and conversion of equipment.
Relevant education as an automation technician, industrial technician or another technical direction, preferably with an academic degree.

About you

5-10 years experience with the Medical Device industry in a similar position.
Great technical understanding.
Strong analytical approach with an academic perspective and thoughts.
Experience in troubleshooting complex production machines.
Excellent communicator and service oriented.
Experienced Microsoft Office user.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Strong organization skills
High level of adaptability
Strong collaboration skills
Strategic thinker
