Would you like to use your education as laboratory technician to contribute to development of products that makes a real difference for people with intimate health care needs?By joining the Materials laboratory team, you will be a part of Test & Analysis, and an integral part of the Test & Characterization organization within R&D. Here we lead the design, documentation, and execution of our test strategies. In the material laboratory you will not only be a part of a team consisting of 12 colleagues, but also have the possibility to work with several of the 45 lab technicians across the R&D laboratories in our Headquarter in Humlebæk.“We develop new products alongside our scientists as the hands-on testers in the laboratory. We deliver evidence to support our product documentation, as well as the innovative input to scientists that can only be generated by having hands-on experience with samples and prototypes. We proudly deliver this evidence in a solid and reliable manner, with both precision and structure. Our tasks can be from very early product development to supporting products getting on the market, and occasionally supporting products already on the market.”We work closely together with colleagues across laboratories and departments, and have a high degree of freedom to plan our own work and tasks. As part as our team, you will be trained in a series of test methods and be part of developing new test methods for new projects alongside our Test Engineer team. You will in this role work with:
  • Prototypes of new products
  • Testing our current line of products up against competitors for performance comparison.
  • Work on test setups and methods - both physical and analytical
  • Contribute to the optimization and functionality of our laboratories with equipment ownership and responsibility for maintenance.

A need for a product to adhere strongly is turned into an output with measurable requirements in our laboratories,” explains Christian.As a person, you take a structured and nuanced approach and maintain a good overview, allowing you to document your test results and communicate them to external stakeholders. You can plan your own time and tasks and are also interested in contributing to the team effort.Also, you have a creative streak and enjoy creating new tools and methods in our development process. Finally, we expect that you:
  • Have an education as a laboratory technician / Laborant.
  • Can comprehend and use data to assist with product documentation.
  • Have knowledge of physical test methods for materials, including test method development.
  • Have knowledge of analytical test methods.
  • Preferably have knowledge working within the medical device industry.
  • Are fluent in Danish and English
