The position is based in Digital Data & IT Global Operations - an area with 300+ employees distributed across more than 25 countries, managing our infrastructure operations and digital workplace services. The department consists of highly qualified Information Technology Engineers, Technicians and IT-Architects who are responsible for IT infrastructure in Product Supply. Our team is working in close co-operation with international Novo Nordisk sites, and external vendors. We are applying agile ways of working in our organization, and our IT deliverables are according to the SAFE framework with agile teams running sprints/iterations.Behind the title
As part of the Automation team, you will be working with various infrastructure teams to plan, program, simulate and test automated processes in close cooperation with our IT architects and IT specialists. You will be responsible for creating design specifications and other relevant documents for developing automation based on specific requirements for the technologies/processes in scope.Your responsibilities could be:
- Automating workflows across infrastructure technologies, E.g. Server deployment, VMware deployment, Monitoring and Configuration/User Management and others
- Providing input and ideas on how we could optimize through automation
- Cooperating with various teams to create bespoke solutions for them
- Supporting design and focus on logic behind key technology related decisions
- Participating in full Software Development Life Cycle of our automation solutionsWhat we're looking for
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 5 or more years of experience with coding in PowerShell or Python
- Experience within IT automation - previous hands on work on any automation frameworks
- Understanding of standard IT infrastructure technologies is a must have
- Stakeholder management ability - to understand internal dependencies in our processes and engagement with SMEs to define and prioritize the automation tasks
- Written and spoken English is a must have
